Privacy Policy

How Good Garden handles personal information when you read our content, join the Letter or contact us about products.

Last updated — 3 September 2026.

1. Who is responsible

Good Garden is operated by Nieuwlaat Trading B.V., Ettenseweg 68, 4706 PB Roosendaal, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 20088771 and VAT number NL806449792B01. Nieuwlaat Trading B.V. is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to info@goodgarden.com.

2. Information we may collect

  • Contact details you provide, such as your name, email address, company and country.
  • Information included in a product enquiry, including products, quantities and delivery preferences.
  • Your email address and consent record when you join the Good Garden Letter.
  • Technical and security information, such as IP address, browser type, device data and server logs.
  • Correspondence and any information you choose to send us.

3. Why we use it

We use personal information to answer enquiries, prepare product information or quotations, deliver the newsletter you requested, operate and protect the website, improve our services and meet legal obligations.

4. Legal grounds

Depending on the situation, processing is based on your consent, steps taken at your request before entering into an agreement, performance of an agreement, our legitimate interest in running a secure and useful website, or a legal obligation.

5. Sharing and service providers

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with hosting, form, email and professional-service providers that support the site, and with public authorities when legally required. Providers should only process information for the agreed purpose and with appropriate safeguards.

6. International transfers

Some service providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where this applies, we use a lawful transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards.

7. Retention

We keep information no longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, and longer only where law or a legitimate record-keeping need requires it. Retention depends on the type of enquiry, correspondence, consent record, security log or commercial relationship involved.

8. Your rights

Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority; in the Netherlands this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

9. Newsletter

You can unsubscribe from the Good Garden Letter using the link in any newsletter or by emailing us. Unsubscribing stops future marketing messages but does not require deletion of records we must retain for legal or administrative reasons.

10. Security and changes

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy when our services or suppliers change; the date above will then be revised.
